As we start shifting into autumn, I’d love to highlight one of my favorite local producers and currently the only cider we carry, !
Bird Dog Cider was formed by two brother, Pete and Nate Endres a few years ago. They originally were bringing apples from their family apple farm in Western, NY. In May 2022 they planted an orchard on a converted dairy farm on the Great Bay in Greenland, NH. Each year more and more of the apples in the cider will come right from their farm. It’s been a joy getting to know them over the past two years and the ciders have evolved and developed beautifully.
They make cider in a traditional style, dry and typically sparkling and is meant to be consumed with food. They really know how to let the apples and terroir shine through. Their ciders don’t overpower food, but we also happily sip on them alone. You won’t find flavor ciders in their lineup, but you will find an array of styles and even some barrel aged ciders! My current favorites are Animal Tracks, a brandy barrel aged cider and Great Bay Rosé a light and refreshing cider made from red fleshed apples.
I’ve had the great fortune to spend some time with Pete and Andrew and have even assisted with tasting through and blending the developing ciders for the upcoming vintage! It’s been a great learning experience and I look forward to working with them for many years to come.
Massively exciting news is that their tasting room is set to open later this autumn! It’s a truly special and family friendly place that I can’t wait for you all to experience yourselves!
In the meantime, stop in the shoppe and get yourself a few bottles of Bird Dog Cider to enjoy 🥂🍎
Hey hey!! It’s that time again 🥂🍇☀️

Dram Botanical Sparkling Water! We currently have three flavors: Holy Basil& Lemon, Mushroom Cola, and Lavender& Lemon Balm.
I fell in love with these recently and they really do promote calm, mental clarity and digestive support. They are great for hydration as there are no artificial flavors, no sweeteners or any odd additives at all.
$2.50 a can or $10 for a 4 pack!
**They do have adaptogenic Botanicals which are not recommended for consumption during pregnancy or breastfeeding as they help balance hormones.
This is such a beautiful bottle of wine for this hot and sunny summer day!
100% Catarratto which is a native grape from Sicily, it spends around 20 days on the skins for a long cold fermentation from native yeasts. It gives bright flavors of candied citrus and Mediterranean herbs.
While this wine drinks lovely on its own, it can stand up and complement a variety of foods well. I had it last night with some delicious spicy Indian cuisine and it was perfect. But it will easily pair well with seafood, blue cheeses and white meats ! Enjoy ☀️
$27/btl
This is the wine I’m reaching for today!
This winery was founded based on a love for Alsatian wines but grown and produced in Paso Robles, California. This is a Gewürztraminer that has was left on its skins for a whopping 40 days so it has a beautiful color answer texture.
It’s full of flavors like orange blossoms, honeysuckle and camomile tea. It’s refreshing and interesting and you’ll want to drink it all day!

Summer Sip: Château Barbebelle Fleuri Blanc Côteaux d’Aix Provence- $18/btl
From the stunning vineyards of Provence in the South of France- think lavender fields and hilltop stone villages with a slower pace to life. This is a lighter press of 100% Viognier , a typical grape found in the south of France. She is a bouquet of flowers balanced with luscious stone fruits all while being refreshing and easy going.
I love this wine as an aperitif, with light seafood, salads and creamy cheeses.

At the foot of Mont Blanc in Italy’s furthest Northwest region of the Aosta Valley, Marziano Vevey produces this rare white wine. It’s 100% Prie Blanc, one of Italy’s rarer varietals, is grown almost exclusively in this alpine region. As snow melts from the Alps above, the vineyards are nourished by this mineral-rich water, giving the final wine a gorgeous expression of granite, along with notes of lemon, lime, apple, and spring flowers. Pair it with lobster, grilled veggies, or mushroom risotto. $30/btl

We had a stunning evening with for their retreat 🥂🌻
From the heart of the Russian River Valley, comes this vibrant Chardonnay from Kith & Kin. The bright acidity balances the creaminess flawlessly. Lovely medium-body with flavors of fall fruits like apple and pear, mixed with lemon peel and pastry. It’s like you’re baking an apple pie in Nonna’s kitchen. The vineyard is sustainably farmed with grapes being hand-harvested. The wine is aged 12 months in French oak and packs a punch at 14.4% ABV.
It pairs wonderfully with seafood, roasted vegetables, or a Chicken Cordon Bleu to harmonize those salty and savory flavors. $22/btl
Did you know we carry local wines from ??
Natural wine grown right here in New Hampshire, this Nok Vino Trivium is an ode to the varied soil types you’ll find in our region. A blend hybrid varietals that thrive in cooler climates - Marquette, Sabervois, Frontenac Noir, and St. Croix. It’s a harmonious blend of native red grapes that express three different vineyard sites: one of sand and iron-rich stones, one of quartz and shale in clay, and a third of silty gravel with fluorite. With a lighter body, and low tannins, you’ll taste the delightful balance of bright red fruit, like cranberry and red currant, with flinty minerality. These earthy flavors pair nicely with pasta, grilled vegetables, and even some gamey meats like rabbit or duck.
Priced at $34/btl- stop by and support local winemakers!
