This year's Grand Cru from has finally arrived in the form of its 2024 version of Liquid Swords! This cuvée includes a two year red wine barrel aged saison, a two year bourbon barrel aged saison, and a one year old barrel aged strong dark farmhouse ale. Brilliantly blended, this year's version is complex and dry, with barrel notes perfectly complimenting the farmhouse saison base.

Our friends at and just released a really cool collaboration beer that landed on our shelf today in Top Work. Brewed with malt, flaked oats and wheat from , and Freedom's Edge semi-dry cider base, it was then cofermented for 12 months in oak barrels before being blended with Norway's sour golden ale base and canned. If a dry farmhouse ale had a baby with a Maine cider, this would be the delicious result.

Bean Suppahs have long brought together communities in Maine, so perhaps inspired by that coming together the crew at teamed up with the folks down at to create a wicked good new IPA in Bean Suppah! Hopped with Mosaic Cryo, Mosaic Lupomax, and Nectaron hops, this beer has a delicious backbone of Pilsner malt, flaked wheat and oats to give a great mouthfeel and balance to a hop profile that has big tropical fruit notes with just a touch of pine and resin. It's currently getting a 4.24 on Untappd and is not to be missed by all you hop lovers out there!

Inspired by stories from local customers remembering their grandfather's barrel of cider fermenting in his basement, the crew at just released their Croze & Chime. Fermented in a Calvados barrel, this still cider is true to its name as it too has some barrel qualities and that brilliant, bright Maine cider quality that you really only get right here in Vacationland. We are stoked to have recently added it to our cider lineup that includes over 130 different ciders, from right here in Maine and from away.

Most beer lovers associate the Delirium brand with deliciously strong Belgian style ales (and maybe pink elephants). Well get ready for a brand new offering from the Huyghe Brewery out of Melle, Belgium in Delirium Black Barrel Aged! We're stoked to be carrying this very special Belgian amber aged on bourbon barrels for 9 months. With notes of caramel, bourbon, vanilla, and a touch of nuttiness, this is a fantastic beer that packs a punch at 11.5%!

It’s the Heaven Hill Bottled In Bond 7! This bad boy is a slice of Heaven Hll history, hearkening back to 1939… oh, and by the way… it’s also a heckuva bourbon! Smooth, warm and sweet , with caramel, honey, oak and char. A bourbon that’s definitely worth waiting those 7 years of aging for… but your wait is over now! :)

The first person to add raspberry jam to a peanut butter sandwich... brilliant!

Mast Landing adding real raspberries to their Gunners Daughter milk stout, and calling it the Gunners Daughter PB&J? SUUUUPER brilliant!

You know the Gunners Daughter as a beautifully balanced milk stout with tastes of peanut butter, coffee, and dark chocolate. Well, Mast Landing has amped up the peanut butter and added real raspberries, for a PB and J that would REALLY rock your lunchbox! ;)

Smoked lagers just hit right in the fall. The latest to hit our shelf is Glimmen from the lager masters over at . Glimmen means "to shine or glow" in German, and the deep golden hue of this beer does just that. With a touch of smoke and just enough hops to give a spicy and floral hop balance, this helles drinks oh-so-good on a beautiful Maine Autumn day.

We recently welcomed back two delicious sours from the brewing team down at !
Blue Slide Park, named for the debut album of Mac Miller, is a (seriously) blue raspberry, pineapple, and banana sour that drinks like a perfect amalgamation of a jolly rancher and a tasty fruited sour.
Where Dreams Come True is a collaboration with the Miami based brew team at . With tons of fresh pineapple and Pineapple Dole Whip, this really is a tropical fruited sour lover's dream come true!

A really cool collaborative DIPA just landed at the store from the brew teams at and in Skillz. Modestman's head brewer and the crew from Epigram were colleagues in the past, so it only made sense for them to team up for this killer new beer. Starting with Epigram's flagship IPA Skills, they added Pacific Sunrise hops to really highlight the orange zest and other citrus notes and compliment the existing tropical and dank hop profile. All these flavors come together in beautiful harmony as this beer is currently netting a 4.22 on Untappd and getting rave reviews.

We just got a fresh drop of a delicious English Dark Mild from the crews at and in Milds Are Forever! Extremely drinkable at 3.5%, this beer pours a deep amber and brings notes of cocoa and toffee with just a touch of balancing bitterness. It's the perfect sessionable treat for these cool Maine Autumn days!

Two world-class stouts returned to our shelves this week in Brooklyn Brewery's Black Ops and Sierra Nevada's Narwhal.
Black Ops is is an imperial stout aged for four months on Four Roses Small Batch bourbon barrels. It drinks robust and has big notes of cocoa, dark roasted coffee, vanilla and oak. It also drinks deceptively smooth for 12.4%.
Narwhal is a classic end-of-year offering from the venerable brewing team at Sierra Nevada. With notes of baker's chocolate, espresso, dark toasted bread and just a touch of smoke, this beer is finely balanced with Cascade and Ekuanot hops to make for an exquisite drinking experience.

Did you know that the Sports Business Journal recently named Portland as the "top minor league sports market"? Did you also know that our friends at teamed up with Portland's newest team, the USL's Hearts of Pine (), to create a delicious new pale ale? That's right, we just landed this brand new collaboration beer between the two, with Simcoe, Chinook and Galaxy hops complimented by Maine grown malts. This pale ale has notes of fresh pine, grapefruit, passionfruit and citrus pith and is the perfect compliment to a match on the pitch!

One of the store's seasonal favorites just came back in 's Triple Stack! Utilizing maple syrup from Slattery's Farm and Maple Supply Company, this farmhouse tripel ale manages to balance that delicious Maine nectar with the backbone of a Belgian-style tripel ale. It's bold, delicious, packs a punch at 9.5%, and is the perfect fall beer for a cool Autumn evening.
