Two legendary beers are finally back in our store in a 550 ml bottle format in Samuel Smith's Imperial Stout and Taddy Porter. The brewery uses older, traditional methods to make their beer, including utilizing stone "Yorkshire squares" for fermentation, that release a complex and beautiful bouquet of malt flavors that hit the palate just right on a cold winter's night.

We recently were able to get a really cool and highly regarded barleywine collaboration between the crews at , and in Breakfast with Maris. With a dose of maple syrup and cinnamon, this English-style barleywine brings a ton of flavor to the table and clocks in at a robust 13.4%

Every year, the crew down at brew a very special beer for their anniversary in Mountain. We're very excited to have just gotten this year's bourbon barrel-aged version, just in time for the holidays! Using a luscious combination of 2-row, Crystal, Roasted Chocolate and Black malts, this year's version clocks in at a robust 12% and is a perfect compliment to a cold winter's night.

We just got a killer new double IPA collaboration between Maine's own and the great brew team down at in Calling Shots. Brewed with Nelson Sauvin, Citra, and HBC 630 hops, this beer also takes advantage of DynaBoost, a special hop extract from the hop wizards at . The result is an DIPA that's almost as good as a Pritchard buzzer be**er or hearing "JT FOR THREEEEEEEE!"

A really cool new beer from the crew down at just landed on our shelf in their oak barrel aged Antioch. This is the sixth release in the series and contains a blend of different ales aged in wine barrels anywhere from 6 months to 2 years. Tangy and bright with vinous and oak notes from the barrel aging, this beer hovers somewhere between a barrel aged Flemish Red or Oud Bruin. It's currently getting a 4.23 on Untappd and would make a great gift for the sour lover in your life!

There are several seasonal Maine brewed beers that we look forward to getting every winter, but does it get more "Mainer" than 's Get There From Here? Paying tribute to the Needham, one of Maine's favorite confections, this 9.5% imperial stout is loaded with roasted malts, toasted coconut, cacao nibs, and yes, even potatoes. With a touch of lactose sugars adding body and a kiss of sweetness, this is a wonderful beer to curl up on the couch to on a cold winter's night.

We just got a big drop of fresh beer from the brewing team at , including the new (to us) beer Citra Flash Mob! Hopped primarily with Citra and a touch of Amarillo and Simcoe, this beer has big notes of grapefruit and lemon lime, with a touch of grassy pine and tropical fruit. We also got fresh Pliny the Elder, Happy Hops, Blind Pig IPA, and STS Pils.

We just got a very special collaboration barleywine from the two great brew teams at and in What Dwells Within! This is the Bissell team's first foray into American barleywines (think Bigfoot) and their first collaboration with the barleywine experts over at Barreled Souls. Hopped with Chinook, Simcoe, and Galaxy, the brewer's tasting notes are "candied pine, medium toast, dried prune, and caramelized grapefruit."

Two beautiful new ciders from the team at just landed in Underveil and Groundwork: Harvest Moon!

Underveil is a single varietal cider with Harrison apples that aged for a year in Sauternes barrels from Bordeaux. With a touch of oak complimenting a dry and almost tart base, this new offering from the crew in Winthrop absolutely hit the mark.

We also got their new Groundwork series cider in Harvest Moon. Highlighting a single orchard, this cider has Northern Spy apples from .maine and really showcases the unique flavors that this apple brings to the table.

Every winter, we look forward to the newest batch of the amazing Grumpalumpagus from our friends at . An imperial oatmeal stout brewed with pale malt from and flakes oats from , this beer is then aged for six months in bourbon barrels and finished with fresh coffee from before packaging. Luscious and complex, this beer clocks in at 9.5% and is sure to make even a grumpy stout lover wanting more!
