Went a lot faster Saturday night because of track temp but tried some new stuff on this run that I really liked. After 4 years, qualifying was one of the sessions I missed the most! Full send!

So grateful to be back behind the wheel of a racecar again! Big thank you to Girem Tile Work and Racecar Solutions for helping make this weekend happen.

Quick recap of yesterday’s race:
Qualifying was extremely close. We ended up P8 but only 3/100th’s of a second out of P3 😳
The race went green to checkered with no cautions and I was able to pick up a spot before the field got strung out. Came really close to 6th place, side-by-side at the line with my teammate, but we came home 7th. Definitely a great weekend to build off of for next season!

Nice turnout this weekend at New Smyrna Speedway for the Sportsman 50-lap feature.

I was working with Ron Whaley in the #2 car. We had a great start to the race, just conserving tires and hanging with the front pack, but had a flat right rear tire which put us out of contention.

After a late night at New Smyrna, we loaded up to head out to Sebring International Raceway with Performance Driving Group.

We had Zach’s Iroz IMS850s RS3 out on track for the first time since Lira Motorsports Performance finished an extensive build with it. Test session went flawlessly and Zach’s driving is improving with each and every session.

Daniel Escoto was also there piloting one of our stock cars (former ARCA car). He made some big strides today and is looking forward to making his ARCA RACING SERIES debut.

Showing improvement! Daniel Escoto making a nice pass at New Smyrna Speedway this weekend. He ended up finishing 5th in the 50-lap feature event. It’s been a pleasure helping Daniel develop his race craft over this season and I can’t wait to get him to victory lane in an oval race!

Great day at the FIRM with the stock car yesterday. Daniel Escoto did a great job controlling what is in my opinion one of the hardest cars to drive on a road course.
