Happy New Year to All!

Start the New Year right—Go Fishing! Lakeview will be open regular hours on New Year’s Day, 10 am- 6 pm. And we have frozen and fresh bait, including rosies. If you are headed to the heated dock, the lake, or your own private spot, stop by. There’s always free coffee!

It looks like a beautiful weekend ahead! Time to get in some good fishing!

The Lakeview Store & Bait Shop has all your bait and fishing needs. Our winter hours are 10-6 daily from now through February; however, on nice days like this weekend looks to be we are usually there earlier. We are closed only on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas.

Just a reminder that we stock live and frozen bait year-round. So, if you enjoy winter fishing at the lake or the dock, stop by and see us. The coffee is always free!

What an amazing week. On Wednesday the Ponca City Area Chamber of Commerce came to the store and held an important event for us! This event included a ribbon cutting ceremony, which celebrated our recent store expansion and hard work!

Tomorrow, Saturday May 18, will be a fun day at Lakeview!
From 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. there will be garage sales at the Lakeview Boat & RV Storage units, on both the north and south sides of Lake Road.
There will be everything from furniture for indoor, outdoor or office to reloading supplies as well as lots of miscellaneous.
It is also opening day for The Chill Shaved Ice! They will open at 10 a.m. Come and enjoy your favorite flavors or try a new one!
And while you are at Lakeview drop into the Store and Bait Shop to check out the new, expanded store and merchandise. Hours are 7 - 7 daily.

Thank you all for another great weekend. Today we have restocked on medium-small shiners, medium-large shiners, and Rosy reds! We should have a large batch of River minnows coming later this week as well. Come and get our minnows while they’re still here!! Apart from our bait, here’s a small sneak peek at what we’ve got going on in the store. Still more progress to be made.

This post is a reminder that the Lakeview Store serves as a one-stop shop for all your spoonbill snagging needs! This includes 12 packs of 8/0, 10/0, and 12/0 barbless treble hooks. We carry plenty of bank sinkers in different sizes as well. While the water levels have been relatively low, our customers desires to snag have been at an all time high. We have extra boxes of snagging hooks stored away & ready to go at your convenience.

Apart from hooks and sinkers, our store has a variety of surf rods, combos, and reels that will help you target those paddlefish. We carry reputable brands such as Penn, Okuma, Meat Hunter, + many more. Come check us out at 8875 Lake Road and take a free fridge magnet/business card during your visit!
