The Plain Folk General Store is super excited to present Loc-Alley Crafted! -- coming Summer 2025. Mark your calendars now:

Saturday June 14th

Saturday August 9th

from 10am to 3pm

Our goal is to support local artisans and build a fun, community-driven event right in the heart of Pleasant Plain.

We're currently looking for vendors to commit to one or more of the dates listed above at absolutely NO COST to you. Which means 100% of the profit you make that day is all yours. There are no vendor costs.

Please reach out to Vicky Frackers True-Baker to sign-up.

We have room for approximately 52 vendors in 10 x 10 spots. There is a bit of wiggle room if your setup is slightly larger.

We'll be creating an event page where we'll market the event heavily and showcase all the vendors who plan to participate - so you'll get some free marketing as well!

December 24: Just a reminder that The Plain Folk General Store will be OPEN TODAY from 7am-7pm (kitchen closes at 6:30pm) for all of your last minute holiday needs: Beer, Wine, Milk, Eggs, groceries, and other basic supplies! Or let us make you a hot, freshly baked pizza, wings or hoagie so you don't have to cook today! Stop in and share some cheer with our hard working staff! We will be CLOSED on Christmas Day (Wed. Dec. 25) but we will re-open on our regular schedule on Thursday, December 26. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!

Tuesday December 10: Just a reminder that The Plain Folk General Store will be closing at 5:00pm today (Tues. Dec. 10) for our Annual Staff Christmas Party. Kitchen will close at 4:30pm so any food orders must be placed BEFORE then and picked up before 5:00pm.

The Plain Folk General Store just got in a few really great ones: Madtree "Holly Days" (which was awarded #1 IPA on the Planet title at Tasting Alliance World Beer Competition.), Fretboard's "Drummer Boy", and the old staple, Sam Adams "Winter Lager". All now available in 6 packs, singles, or as a part of your custom "Pick Six"!!

We now have a couple of great ones from Athletic Brewing Co: "Run Wild" N/A IPA and "Upside Dawn" N/A Golden Ale. You can get them in singles, 6 packs or as a part of a "pick your own six" variety pack!
