We are sad to announce that this is Fran's last week as a full timer at Gioiosas. She is moving on to Nelson's Flower Shop. Luckily she will be making guest appearances from time to time. If you appreciate Fran, please stop in this week to wish her good luck!

Zinfandel and grilled foods, like grilled chicken is a great, light pairing. Try together and enjoy! 🍷

It's ! Which means making your favorite kind of marg to go with it. This week we will be making a Jalapeño Cucumber Margarita, spicy but refreshing!

🍹 Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups tequila blanco
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 cup simple syrup (or to taste)
- Ice
- Salt for the the glasses
- Lime wedges and snap peas for garnish

🍹 Simple Syrup Ingredients:
- 3 small cucumbers, thinly sliced (grab the burpless English variety)
- 2 jalapeño, thinly sliced (add more if you like it hot)
- Bunch of cilantro, chopped
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water

🍹 Instructions:
- Slice the cucumbers and jalapeños
- Add the sliced cucumbers and jalapeños into a bowl and gently muddle to release some of those flavors
- Add the sugar and water to a sauce pan and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer
- Add the muddled concoction and bunch of chopped cilantro (omit if you don’t like cilantro) to the sugar water and continue to simmer until sugar is completely dissolved, plus a little longer to to steep the flavors
- Take off the burner and let cool
- Run a wedge of lime around all of the glasses and dip the rims in salt
- Add ice to the pitcher and add tequila, lime juice, and simple syrup. Gently stir to combine
- Add ice to each of the glasses and pour the margaritas. Garnish with extra lime wedges and enjoy!

🍀 You'll Need:
- Sour apple schnapps
- Coconut rum
- Pineapple juice
- Maraschino cherries for garnish
- 2 drops of green food coloring

🍀 Instructions:
- Add coconut rum, apple schnapps, pineapple juice, and food coloring into an ice-filled shaker
- Shake and strain into a cocktail glass
- Garnish

🍓Chocolate Covered Strawberry Shooter:
Ingredients:
- Melted chocolate chips
- Strawberry milk
- White chocolate liqueur
- Vodka
- Strawberries, for garnish

Preparation:
- Place melted chocolate on a small plate and roll rims of shot glasses in thee chocolate
- Combine the strawberry milk, liqueur and vodka into a shaker
- Fill with icee and shake until cold
- Pour drink into prepared shot glasses
- Garnish and serve

- Tequila blanco
- Orange juice
- Grenadine
- Orange slice (garnish)
- Maraschino cherry (garnish)

🍹Instructions:
1. Pour the grenadine in the bottom of your glass.
2. Add ice to glass.
3. Combine orange juice and tequila into shaker, shake for 10 seconds.
4. Pour over ice.
5. Garnish

A super refreshing, 3 ingredient Pomegranate Sparkler! 🍷

🍷Ingredients:
- Pomegranate seeds
- Chilled bottle of pomegranate juice
- Chilled bottle of sparkling white wine

🍷Instructions:
- Place a spoonful of pomegranate seeds in the bottom of your glass
- Fill glass half way with pomegranate juice
- Top with sparkling wine

This we're making a pomegranate margarita! Grab all your ingredients and sip while making/eating your favorite tacos! 🌮

🍹You'll need:
- Pomegranate juice
- Cranberry juice
- Gold tequila
- Orange liqueur
- Lime juice
- Coarse salt for the rim

🍹Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients except salt into a cocktail shaker and shake for a few seconds
- Rub a slice of lime over the rim of a glass and dip it in coarse salt all around
- Add as much ice to the glass as you would like and pour in the margarita mixture
- Garnish with a lime and enjoy!
