Whiskey and wings are two of our favorite things. These Sesame Sour Mash Glazed Wings featuring Michter’s will be the MVP at your next get-together.

Sesame Sour Mash Wings
1 cup Michter’s US*1 Sour Mash
1/2 cup packed light-brown sugar
3 Tbs fresh lemon juice
3 cloves garlic, smashed
1 2-inch piece ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper
3lb chicken wings
1 Tbs chili sauce or Sriracha, plus more for serving
1 Tbs toasted sesame seeds, plus more for serving (optional)
Thinly sliced scallions and cilantro, for serving (optional)

Preheat oven to 475 degrees.
In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, combine sour mash, light-brown sugar, lemon juice, garlic, ginger and 1 tsp salt. Bring to a boil; reduce to a simmer and continue to cook until syrupy, about 20 minutes. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve (you should have 2/3 cup). Add chili sauce and toasted sesame seeds.
In the meantime, arrange wings in an even layer on a rimmed baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper. Bake until lightly golden, about 20-25 minutes. Remove wings to large bowl. Toss with half the sauce. Return to baking sheet and continue to bake until wings are sticky, glossy and slightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes more.
Serve wings with remaining sauce, sesame seeds, scallions, cilantro and chili sauce.
