Say NO to Wawa
Wawa has proposed to build on this piece of property, and they are already in the process of getting their application approved.
A Wawa existing in this plot of land would be a shame for many reasons: not only would this building destroy the buffer that exists between Rt. 23 and the Packanack Neighborhood, it would severely impact the quality of life of the residents who are located within close proximity to property.
There are so many ideas that could fit into this plot of land -- preserve the barn itself and create an ice cream shoppe, a flower store, a small boutique, a coffee shop, etc.
Why are we settling on the easiest bid, when with just a little bit of legwork we could preserve one of the few remaining buildings in Wayne with charm and history?
