Store Manager Job Description and responsibilities

1- Sustain the business profit and take necessary actions to increase profit.
a. Maintain all goods items on inventory.
b. Ensure no items are running out of shelves.
c. Order all items from vendors either daily, weekly, or monthly.
d. Execute promotional Pricing.
e. Receive and check all requested purchases from vendors.
f. Negotiate the purchases prices with vendors and get the best price for purchased items.
g. Look for new vendors who provides new items and better deals.
h. Introduce new services and products such as Money Orders.

2- Ensure excellent Customer Service.
a. Treat clients fairly and respectfully.
b. Resolve client’s complaints.
c. Ensure the cleanliness of the store; inside and outside.
d. Ensure all store facilities and equipment are in good working conditions.

3- Manage Store Operations
a. Maintain Lottery tickets and verifying daily closing.
b. Ensure shift and daily Teller is correct with daily relevant reports.
c. Monitor daily cash in cash register.
d. Cash Payroll checks.
e. Review security camera events.

4- Manage store employees:
a. set up daily work schedule one week ahead.
b. Issue disciplinary actions for any employee violating their daily tasks.
c. Cover the shift for any employee call out and or absence.
d. Hiring and or Firing

5- Working hours as a teller for not less than 40 hours per week.
6- Available 24 hours on call for store and employee support.

Customer Service / Cashier duties. Running a cash register - this includes accountability for cash, lottery tickets, cash cards, etc. Completing shift reportCleaning (counter-tops, floors, bathrooms, emptying trash containers, etc.). Stocking shelves and coolers, sweeping and mopping floors, gasoline tank inventory (stick readings). Checking product in as it is delivered from vendors. Light equipment maintenance (pumps, lighting, machinery, etc.). Ability to communicate with associates and guestsAbility to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork. Other tasks assigned by management

Positions Requirements:

Be presentable. Ability to learn cashier duties. Available weekend, evening shifts and holidays. Must have reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

Frequent bending, reaching, lifting. Reaching above shoulder height and bending below waist. Be able to freely access all areas of the store.Move quickly around store.
