The Outpost is a full service and gated facility that includes electricity, stage, sound system, fire pits, and plenty of room to move and tons of outside parking for spectators if needed. Catering is available from independent contractors that include everything from tented fine dinning to a good’ol western bbq. Additional services can be requested on an as need basis allowing the Outpost to become your one stop shop for that special event.

Bring your lunch or we have a new place in town GourmeTacos, she puts a twist on them, not mexi tacos, she has tacos like Cheeseburger or pastrami, seafood or vegan, including various sides.

The Chumash Intertribal Powwow is a 2-day event, hosted in October in Santa Ynez, CA. Over 300 Native American dancers and singers representing many of the tribes from Canada and the United States, attend annually to participate socially and competitively.

In honor of chef, award-winning cookbook author and activist Sean Sherman receiving the 2023 Julia Child Award, the Foundation will make a $50,000 grant to North American Traditional Indigenous Food Systems (NATIFS), a non-profit organization founded by Sherman and dedicated to addressing the economic and health crises affecting Native communities by re-establishing Native foodways. The funding will support the Indigenous Food Lab, an education and training center working to develop and support Indigenous kitchens and food enterprises in tribal communities, bringing cultural, nutritional and economic revitalization across North America.
We look forward to celebrating Sherman and his incredible work through NATIFS and the Indigenous Food Lab at the 9th annual Julia Child Award Gala, taking place Tuesday, October 24, at The Depot Renaissance in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
