Hello, this is LaGene from Free State Ci**rs. Emotions are high today as I completed my final day at the lounge yesterday! Want to thank Dave and Karen for being the best bosses I have had in my lifetime. Also, I have gained them as lifelong friends! I also want to thank so many wonderful members and guests for accepting me! Rarely do you meet such great people as I have at the lounge. So many of you have become awesome friends! I will miss everything about Free State Ci**rs! Thanks to everyone for making this job a dream that I had no idea was possible!

It’s the last week of our business. You still have time to come in for the 40 percent off sale that includes all ci**rs and accessories. Open Wednesday and Thursday 2:00-7:00 for sales and for you to enjoy the lounge.

Then, Friday is our final day. Open as usual from 2:00-6:00. Your final opportunity to relax in the lounge. At 6:00 we will get pizza for paid attendees. And at 7:00 we welcome international and recording artist Craig “Twister” Steward. Come see this amazing harmonica and guitar virtuoso live in the lounge in downtown Parsons Kansas.

Tickets on sale now at the store. Members $5 and General public $7. Includes pizza and the show. We suggest getting your tickets soon as seating is limited.

Today is the beginning of our “Going out of business” sale.

All ci**rs and accessories are now 40 percent off. Not only do we have premium ci**rs but also lighters, cutters, cigar clips, ashtrays, flasks, and more. It is a great time to fill your home humidors and get accessories for yourself or gifts for others. Our business closing is your opportunity. Sale continues through closing on Friday, October 25th.

Announcing Free State Ci**rs “Goodbye Celebration” featuring Craig “Twister” Steward live!

Friday, October 25th, is the final day of business for Free State Ci**rs. It is difficult and emotional to say goodbye so we will do it in style and have a party.

Our first live show in 2022 featured Twister. It was a huge success and many of our customers have asked when we could have him back again. What better way to close this place than to bring back this fabulous musician?

The lounge will be open 2:00-6:00 for regular business.
After 6:00 you will need a ticket to attend the celebration. We will serve pizza from 6:00-7:00. Then Craig will start at 7:00 and continue as long as we can encourage him to play.

Tickets are on sale at the lounge beginning Saturday, October 12th. Members are $5 and general public is $7. We expect a large crowd so get your tickets soon. Seating is limited.

Live Music Saturday!

Free State Ci**rs welcomes the UnChosen into our lounge live this Saturday 3:00-5:00. Come and enjoy the acoustic Rock sounds of our local talent. There is no charge to attend but we ask that you make a purchase or donate to our troops via Ci**rs for Warriors.

This is the final Saturday live music event at the lounge. It has been a joy and honor to host great musicians in our venue.

Street closing!

Saturday, October 5th, Main Street will be closed 7:30am until 5:00pm for the Chamber Art Fest. We have plenty of parking behind the store so come in and enjoy the Downtown activities while you experience one of our premium ci**rs.

Another shipment from Ci**rs for Warriors and their volunteers.

Free State Ci**rs will continue to take your donations for CFW until our final day of business on October 25. The final shipment from our store and community will follow that.

Thank you for your overwhelming support to our troops the last couple of years. I recently spoke with a customer who had received a CFW package while serving overseas. It gives them a little feeling of home.

Just sent this to our members. Wanted everyone to be aware.

Free State Ci**rs has been around for only 2 1/2 years but it has become a nice part of the culture of Parsons. As the saying goes however, all good things must come to an end. We have made the difficult decision to close the business this fall.

The reason for this decision is financial. Most of you have noticed the empty boxes in the walk in humidor. We are simply unable to replace inventory due to the business costs and lack of sales.

Look for our hours to remain the same through October. And please let us know if you have any requests for special orders. Expect to see sales on remaining stock as the closing approaches.

Thank you for your patronage, support, and friendship. Our members have been the bedrock of this business. Our plan is to prorate any remaining balance on paid annual memberships.

Please join us as often as possible in the weeks that remain. Let’s make our last days of this establishment the best days of all!
