Just heard . . . Village of Page will be without power tomorrow, Dec. 21st from 9 to 11 a.m. per North Central Public Power.

And so the Farmers Store will be closed then too!

I'm wondering if anyone in the village has seen or gotten a package delivered by UPS that is addressed to me and/or Farmers Store from Amazon and/or ZH Traders. According to UPS, it was delivered Thursday and left "by the garage". ???

Okay kids (and parents)! I know it's finally nice weather, school is winding down, yada, yada, yada . . . BUT . . . if you are not able to look out for traffic before crossing streets, if you are not able to be considerate of others, if you are not able to be polite (please and thank you are not bad words), if you are not able to do social distancing - DON'T COME INTO THE STORE!!!
Also even though there is supposedly a change shortage, it has never been a problem here so please DO NOT pay with lots and lots of change! I will ask if there is something in particular that I'm needed.

Stunts like this don't help keep prices down - quite the opposite in fact. Everyone will get to help pay for this. Hope ...

FYI - NPPD will be shutting down power Monday, Oct. 18th, 1 to 4 and Monday, Nov. 1st, 1 to 3. Something about improving recovery time after storms/power loss.
The Farmers Store will be closed during those times -- and a little before -- so I can get the pumps all shut off and not have to re-program them afterwards.

Usually Saturday mornings here at the Store are wild, crazy and FUN! NOT today! Lots of disappointed people, even a little boy that was up visiting Grandma and wanted donuts because that's what they do (visit Grandparents, come to the Farmers Store on Saturday mornings for donuts, conversations, fun).

We're working on it, guys! We hope to have donuts next Saturday (but not from Casey's in O'Neill), will keep you posted.

btw, be sure to Thank the manager at Casey's for the wonderful customer service experience since I have yet to call get my call returned (it's only been a week).
