Sorry for all the last minute changes and closing early the last few days. We had an all volunteer skeleton crew working around Christmas and the sick bug has hammered those who offered to work. 🥶

Very cool Train event coming up on Monday!

Pacific, MO is now a scheduled stop on Monday, August 30th from 10:15am to 10:45am!
Please make plans now to see this rare, up close experience with one of America’s favorite Steam Locomotives.

Big Boy No. 4014 was delivered to Union Pacific in December 1941. The locomotive was retired in December 1961, having traveled 1,031,205 miles in its 20 years in service. In 2013, Union Pacific begin a multi-year restoration process and returned 4014 to service in May 2019 to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Transcontinental Railroad's Completion.

Big Boy No. 4014 departed Cheyenne, Wyoming on Aug. 5, traveling through Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Illinois, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas and Wyoming. Along the way, the Big Boy will be on display in the following cities during the tour:

A huge Shout out to Chrissy, our first customer on the new gas pumps! She timed it dead on, pulling in exactly as the construction crew picked up the cones. 😎😎😎

She was our live test and the pumps were fast and easy to use!

Starting monday the side pumps will be down for 3-4 days. Thanks to everyone for still coming to see us this week despite the chaos in front of the store.

Starting Monday, July 26th, Bud's will be undergoing a major renovation outside. We are having our old Dispensers removed, the crumbling concrete islands torn out, the canopies inspected and reinforced, and new Gas Dispensers installed. This much needed upgrade will mean only half our dispensers can be operating at a time over the next 2 weeks while work is completed.

We will be open normal hours and operating throughout this time, but it will cause some headaches with getting to a gas pump and with parking. There will be some issues, such as diesel being unavailable for a few days while that dispenser is being upgraded.

This short term inconvenience should be well worth it though when its all finished.

Bud's Market is still open and operating, mostly as normal at this time. Things continue to change day by day, but for now we are here, and hope to stay open through these challenging times.

As a precaution, we have temporarily stopped allowing refills on all fountain/coffee products, and are cleaning and disinfecting the store (counters, door handles, keypads, etc) multiple times every day.

Stay safe everyone! And sorry.. We are sold out on TP!
