Store picks are the way to go when you're looking to get the best value out of a bottle purchase.

In case you would like to know, a "store pick" is a Single Barrel of a spirit that was chosen by taste from the staff and the entire barrel was purchased from the distillery. The distillery then bottles the barrel and labels each bottle with that stores logo or name and it shipped to the store.

Now if that staff has good palates, you'll get some great picks. That's what we do here at Whiskey Tangos. We often bring in a group of peers to help with the tastings to ensure we are buying the best we can get for our customers/friends.

We also do quite a few picks with the local charitable Bourbon group, the "Bourbon Society of the Ozarks". A 4.3k member Facebook group that leads the path for the Bourbon following in the area. If you're not a member you're missing out on a lot of cool events and bottles.

So, if you've not had a "store pick" before, come in and let us show you some of ours and see why we've bought and sold 58 barrels in the past 2.5 years here at our little store in Ozark. We love meeting new people and helping them pick their perfect bottle.

The Ozarks Whiskey and Wine Social 2025 tickets will go live on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 2ND! Please be ready to get your tickets that day as this event will sell out again, quickly.

The 2nd Annual OWWS will take place on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at the Oasis Hotel & Convention Center in Springfield, Missouri. This fully charitable event is brought to you by a team of many dedicated to bringing the party and raising a TON for both the Down Syndrome Group of the Ozarks and Potter's House.

Last year saw a complete sell out of VIP tickets within 24 hours! We have created just a 'little' more room but we anticipate those VIP seats going just as fast this year!
GA tickets are set to cap out when our comfortable volume has been reached. We don't want an overcrowded room and long lines. That's not fun. We want you to have the time to meet the distillery owners and brand ambassadors and play games and win actually cool prizes! Not just a t-shirt and a cup.

We design this event with couples in mind so there's going to be many activities and things to enjoy together for an outstanding date night also. But hey dont worry if youre coming alone LITERALLY EVERYONE COOL WILL BE THERE.

Founded in 1948 in Bangalore, India, is Amrut Distillery, renowned for its single malt whisky. The distillery's innovative aging in a tropical climate has garnered international acclaim and awards.

Pictured here are the Cask Strength Peated, and the Fusion (a 75%/25% blend of unpeated and peated). The Cask Strength Unpeated should arrive this week also as this brand was just reintroduced to the state by a new vendor.

If you are a Single Malt fan, you should absolutely have some Amrut in your collection. These are some of the most interesting and well crafted spirits in the world.
