Need some last-second bottles to pop while ringing in 2025? We gotcha covered and will be open until 11PM tonight! Champagne, Cava, Prosecco, Austrian brut, domestic sparkling, even dry sparkling Portuguese red and sparkling almond wine. We've got quite the selection for you to peruse.

Tomorrow, need the hair-of-the-dog, maybe some Bloody Mary or Pickleback mixers? We'll be open New Years Day from Noon - 8PM for your recovery needs, at your favorite local, family-owned wine & spirits shop!

We're a family owned, locally owned and operated shop, and we like to spend time with our family, as well.

As a heads up, we'll be open from 9AM to 6PM on Christmas Eve, and will be closed on Christmas day in observance of Kansas regulations (all liquor stores are closed on Christmas day).

We also have a large assortment of Kosher (and specifically mevushal, as well, if your Rabbi was asking) wines, for Hanukkah!

If there's anything you need before then, last minute shopping for presents or dinner pairings we're happy to help!

I don't mess around, let's taste everything from entry-level Pinot you can pour without guilt for the fam to some of my favorite Italian sparkling and everything in between.

These are all hand-selected to pair with Turkey-Day and I'll be here to give the scoop on all of them, personally. Gonna be a fun time this Saturday! Event link below...it's free. The tasting, not the bottles of wine. I do like staying employed and it is a local family-owned business, so I appreciate if you get some good stuff, but it isn't required to try them out.

John House has made all sort of amazing wine lists, he was even on the "40 under 40" list for Wine Enthusiast a few years back. This is the best sub-$20 Oregon Pinot, IMHO. Sustainably grown and naturally produced, it only has what is needed in it. And the quality? Fantastic! Notes of wild strawberries, cherry, cola nut, dried rose petals and black tea. It's got as lot going on for this price point. And a VERY good pairing for Thanksgiving Dinner.

Clos Las Coutale Cahors (Malbec) 2021

Want to see what Malbec is like in France, where it came from? Cahors is a region in southwest France (East of Bordeaux) famous for Malbec long before Argentina was on the winemaking map. It has a lot more structure and can hold up to beef dishes incredibly well. Definitely worth trying out!

The highest rated sub-$10 pinot noir in the store, it recently received a 92 point rating from Wine Enthusiast. From writer Tonya Pitts:

"This wine is vibrant, crimson hued with aromas of dried cherry, raspberry, grilled mushroom, and dried herbs on the noes. The flavors on the palate are cranberry-pomegranate, grapefruit zest, dried apricot morphing into dried chicory, vanilla, earth and a dry finish. Pair with Grilled Duck Breast."

Spain tends to have the best bang for the buck, and this proves that statement. Boasting an impressive 94 point rating (for THIS PRICE, WHAT?) Mike DeSimone of Wine Enthusiast seems to have liked it quite a bit, and I agree.

"This dark-violet-colored wine has a bouquet of black currant, purple plum, and juniper berry. Flavors of ripe cherry, raspberry, eucalyptus, clove, cocoa powder, and lavender are wrapped in a shroud of muscular tannins that power into a lengthy finish."

It's pretty hard to beat the quality-to-price ratio of such a wine. One way to find out, take it for a spin! Swing on by and see you at the shop.
