Hey Everyone. I know it's been 10 months since our last update. Just wanted to let everyone know that we're still plugging away! We're a few rivets away from finishing the final spar, and we've been "grinding away" at making all the steel tabs & plates for the Aileron & Flap mounts & control brackets that mount inside the wing. Will try to start posting some more pictures in the near future.

After this morning's work session, the left rear spar is done. Now we just need to finish the other three spars, weld up a few dozen internal wing parts, attach the ribs, skin the wings, build the fuselage, strap a fan to the front and it's practically ready to fly. Ok, we have a ways to go, but we're one step closer.

Just wanted to let everyone know that although we haven't been doing LiveStream we've still been plugging away at the project. We've actually spent the past few weeks out in the yard cleaning, etching, and priming our rib stiffeners and attach angles. Last week we realized we were still missing some, so tonight we'll be over at EAA cutting & bending some more! We won't be doing video, but we'll try to post some pictures of our work.

After working ~20 hrs last week priming, we took a break Sunday & Monday. We headed back out last night. We finished etching & priming our capstrips, and also etched/primed all our center ribs. That leaves the Aileron & Flap ribs, Aileron pocket ribs, and Aileron & Flap nose ribs, as well as all the rib stiffeners and rib attach angles (all the small stuff).
