Meet the artist-

Liam Linder, 18, is currently a freshman at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. He grew up in Bellevue, Nebraska, admiring the clay work of Margret Bohls and paintings of Bart Vargas. Though studying to be an Art History major with a focus in Ceramic History, Linder still creates his own work ranging from small sculptures to massive drawings. He has been working mainly with clay since 2022, and found a passion for charcoal based drawings in early 2024.

“Just like with clay, you can see each mark made by the charcoal,” Linder has said, “and with that you see the person who made it, how they made it, and that they cared for the work.”
