Hello, greetings from Tetta’s Market in Samsonville, NY!
Today, we celebrate Giusti Day with our friends at Pogliani Select and Giuseppe Giusti vinegar cellar, founded in 1605 in Modena, Italy.
In our store we sell Giuseppe Giusti’s balsamic vinegar, which makes for a good dressing on salad and other delicious dishes.
And here at Tetta’s, to make a sandwich the right way, we use Giusti balsamic.
Happy Giusti Day!

VOLUNTEERS WANTED FOR COMMUNITY CLEANUP DAY
Since Tetta’s has reopened, there’s been a noticeable increase of litter on the sides of the roads. For this reason, Tetta’s will be hosting a community cleanup day on Sunday, April 21, starting at 10AM.
The cleanup will focus on the sides of the roads in Samsonville, stretching along County Roads 2 and 3, Upper Samsonville Road, Jomar Lane, Krom Road, Kelder Highway and Brown Road. The cleanup zones have been divided up into 10 sections, each section ranging from 0.5 mile to 1.5 miles in length. A map can be found at tettasmarket.com under the “Community” tab. Volunteers will choose which section they would like to be responsible for and can meander at their own pace, cleaning up both sides of the road along the way. It is recommended that volunteers don’t stray further than 20 feet from the shoulder of the road. Once the red garbage bags are full, just tie them up and leave them on the side of the road to be picked up later.
We will provide plastic gloves, bags and reflective safety vests for all volunteers. Snacks and refreshments will also be provided for volunteers at Tetta’s before, during and after the cleanup. The safety vests must be returned at the end of the event to be used again next year.
A special thanks to the Town of Olive Police Department, who will be stationed along the roads to warn traffic and help keep the event safe. Another special thanks to the Town of Olive Highway Department, who will be picking up the full garbage bags from the sides of the roads after the event.
If you are interested in volunteering please sign up at Tetta's or email [email protected]. Thank you!
