Just before Christmas we were able to present a representative from the Parish of the Ressurection Church, here in Old Town, with a check for $1000 ❤️

How we became Lloyd’s Family Market

Randy Lloyd was a man with a dream. A dream of owning his own store, which would offer everything from home-cooked food, to gas, ci******es, ice cold beverages, snacks, coffee, and so much more. He got a small taste after he graduated high school when he opened Lloyd’s Market, in rural Maine. After a few years he moved on and into a more stable career, still in retail, but working for a larger corporation.

He spent his adult life working in the retail business. He loved being around people and people loved being around him. After almost 40 years of working with businesses, setting up stores, managing merchandise, and eventually running a distribution company, he decided he wanted to get back to what was important to him. Serving people. He opened his own specialty to***co shop in Lincoln, ME and named it Smokes for Less. He built that business up and a few years later got a chance to get his hands dirty in the convenience store business again. He purchased a store and named it Lloyd’s Family Market.

Randy, his wife Lynn, and his two children, William and Malarie, ran the businesses for almost four years before he passed away this past winter. His wife and children have continued on, keeping his dream alive.

Lloyd’s Family Market is a convenience store, with friendly people looking to serve you. We offer gasoline, snacks, ice cold beverages, hot-dogs, fresh dough pizza, and best of all, home-cooked daily specials that will make your mouth water. We also offer subs, made on bread that’s cooked daily. You have to try one of our famous Birmwiches, we promise you won’t be sorry!
