Wrapper
The outermost layer of a cigar, this high-quality leaf is typically free of any cosmetic imperfections. This is the part of a cigar we see from the outside. The wrapper is utilized to cover the filler and binder, to draw the smoker in with its appearance, and to provide lots of flavor in the smoke.

Binder
This leaf keeps the filler contained, also assisting in maintaining a consistent burn when lit.
Example: Caldwell’s Eastern Standard Sun Grown cigar features an Ecuadorian binder over fillers from Mexico and the Dominican Republic.

Filler
These to***co leaves make up the inner part of a cigar, which is covered by the binder and wrapper. Filler can be short or long, depending on the type of cigar, and can often be several different to***co leaves combined.

Cabaiguan is hand-crafted by Jose ‘Don Pepin’ Garcia in the My Father Ci**rs factory in Nicaragua. Tough to say, but easy to burn, this mellow to medium-bodied blend employs a smooth Connecticut seed wrapper grown under the valley mist of Ecuador. Inside, a Cuban-seed mixture of Nicaraguan long-fillers is carefully blended to promote a flavorful cigar layered with rich, hearty nuances.

Cabaiguan received a 92-point rating, noting: “Solidly rolled with a lightly-colored wrapper and a pigtail cap. It exhibits great balance with a cocoa-powder sweetness, some light black pepper notes and cedary, leather intonations.”

The Great Cigar Heist of 1921:

In 1921, a shipment of rare Montecristo ci**rs bound for the U.S. mysteriously disappeared during transport. The ci**rs were highly sought-after, and their sudden vanishing sparked rumors of a daring heist. Some believed an inside job was involved, while others suspected smuggler syndicates were behind it.

Years later, the stolen ci**rs reappeared on the black market, but only sold to the wealthiest buyers, including European aristocrats and Hollywood stars. Despite extensive speculation, the identity of the thieves and the full story remain a mystery to this day.

Hey there!

We have received a limited quantity of ci**rs made especially for brick and mortar shops by LCA: LIMITED CIGAR ASSOCIATION. The LCA is all about creating unique smoking experiences and encouraging enthusiasts and novices alike to step outside their comfort zones. Each monthly LCA release has a nationwide drop date, usually the first Friday of the month, and we’ll be getting the new releases each month!

We have the Dec.6th releases now in shop. These blends are one-of-a-kind, crafted by some of the most reputable brands and blenders in the industry. If YOU want to experience something you’ve never tried before—and might never find again—get down to Bongo Ron’s ASAP.
