Here is another Short & Sweet review. Testing out High West Cask Collection in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels. This one is the Ga***rd Texan Barrel. Sampling at 100 proof.
NOSE- Honey sweet, baking bread spice, cinnamon.
BODY- Caramel Charred Oak, Cinnamon with hints of dark fruits on the back end.
FINISH- Medium finish with oak from the wine barrels, with baking spices.

Good Monday to all my Bourbon lovers. Today we have a Short & Sweet review on Bookers Jimmy’s Batch. In honor of Jimmy Russell a close family friend. This 2014-04 batch comes in at 125.8 proof.
NOSE- Vanilla sweet, Brown spiced and hints of dark dried fruits.
BODY- Sweet on the tip of tongue, smooth oak on the back. With lingering dark fruits.
FINISH- Pleasantly smooth for being 125.8 proof. With a Long lingering, Relaxing Old Oak finish.
Come in to The Cellar Liquor Store and grab a bottle to try for yourself. Booker and Jimmy would be proud!
