Thanksgiving is almost upon us!!

Make sure you stop by Carnival Grocery this weekend for both your thanksgiving prep needs and an amazing Holiday Gift Market the Winter Wonderland Artisan Market & Winter Celebration - 3rd Annual South Town Oak Park from noon to 4pm

Between our grocery store and our collaborator Stern Glass Works we will have 10 local artisan, a raffle with amazing hand made pieces and offers from local businesses, FREE kids activities and refreshments.

This awesome event is benefiting the OPALGA+ Scholarship Fund!

Whether you are crying or celebrating, we have the perfect bottle for you. Stop by Carnival Grocery Oak Park, we are here till 9pm!

Are looking for a social, community outlet? Stop by Wednesday November 13th 5pm-7pm for FREE wine tasting with complimentary snacks and community bonding.

Wines shown:

1. La Palazzetta FlaVino, Italian from the Tuscany region. This medium body dry wine would pair wonderfully red meats, lamb, or cured meats!

2. Cinquante Cinq Chardonnay, French from Alignan du Vent. Fresh and crisp with creamy citrus aromas and flavors. Overall a bright, crisp, well-balanced wine with good minerality.

3. Pas De Probleme Pinot Noir, French from the Languedoc region. This wine focuses on balance and minerality. It pairs well with Chicken, Pork or Cured Meat. For hors d’oeuvre pairings Brie, Gruyere, Havarti, Mozzarella or Ricotta!

4. Gulp Hablo Verdejo, Spanish from the Castilla La Macha region. This wine boasts dry delicious bright minerally and slightly herbaceous Verdelho. Good minerality and fresh tones of crisp apples and lemon.

Thanks to everyone who came out to paint and carve pumpkins! It was such a fun day and everyone made such fun pumpkins!

We can’t wait to see you at our next event in collaboration with Stern Glass Works the Winter Wonderland Artisan Market and Winter Celebration! Nov 23 and 24 noon to 4pm. It’ll be a fun family event with free kids actives like face paint and crafts as well as holiday gift shopping from local artisans! This awesome event benefits OPALGA+ scholarship fund!
