It’s that time once again! This year will be our fourth annual Clause Cause and we hope it’s bigger than ever!!
As most everyone knows, the Clause Cause was created to help give back to local families. With the help of the Oak Island Police Department, local churches and community, folks in need provide their “wish lists” that are filled, wrapped and delivered by Santa and Mrs Clause with a police es**rt.
Donations for our 2024 Christmas Season will begin on November 6th and can be made in person at Doodles or via Venmo. We will be offering dye cuts for display at Doodles and accepting donations through December 14th when the whole crew from the North Pole descend on Doodles and Old Bridge Diner for a day of fun filled with crafts, hot chocolate and pictures with Santa and Mrs Claus. Who knows Olaf may even bring us a little magical snow to dance and play in!

UPDATE: Petro Test has been completed, pumps are back up and running.

Proud to say we passed with zero issues to address!

Just a quick heads up…we are currently undergoing our requires annual State Petro testing. This will affect access to our pumps for a short period of time but we promise to be back up and running as soon as possible. Thank you for understanding and sorry for the late notice…these things are unscheduled.

Although the rain has ceased, we will be closing early today as several employees who reside off the island are unable to make the commute due to flooded roads. We appreciate your understanding and urge you to stay safe. We will resume operations tomorrow.

Wow, what a season it has been!

Doodles would like to thank you all for your continued support this season! To those of you we met for the first time…it was wonderful to meet you and we look forward to growing our relationship with you. Community is the heart of Doodles so welcome to the family!

Now that things have slowed down a little we will be adjusting our business hours.

Papa Doodle is itching to get back to his awesome fueling services but unfortunately it’s going to be just a little longer. We will notify you with his hours soon. All is well, Papa is doing great (had a few of you kid folks ask about Papa) just a few life events that have pulled him away for a bit. Thank you for your patience.

Last week's Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Carolina Crab Brewing Company located at 4810 Long Beach Road, Southport.

A great place to hangout! Taproom with 18 drafts, wine, and canned beer selection. Dog friendly & family friendly. They have all sorts of events including music, food trucks and yoga. For a list of the events check out https://crabbrew.com/events

Our staff has been battling with Summer cold season and we are also taking advantage of end of Summer vacations so Papa has been inside chatting it up as your cashier. Hoping to have Papa back out there this Friday providing you guys with his awesome fueling service. Thank you for understanding!
