We are now open 5 days a week, Thursdays through Mondays, for the 2024 season. We are closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We will be open this weekend 4/6/24 through 4/8/24 for the 2024 eclipse. We've gotten several requests, so we decided to open for the convenience of our customers. Hope to see you then.

We have gotten over the worst of the Covid at this point - just living with the long Covid symptoms (mainly fatigue). This had made us the sickest we have ever been. Even cancer, chemotherapy and radiation was not this bad.
We are now open by appointment again. If possible, call us ahead so we can make arrangements to be at the shop when you need us. Masks are recommended but not required. We will be wearing masks.

The shop is currently closed due to the fact that we all have been extremely sick with covid since mid-December. We seem to be on the downside, but are still not taking a chance on exposing anyone else to this horrible disease. Don't let anyone tell you it isn't that bad. If they say that it is just out of sheer ignorance. Even cancer, chemo and radiation wasn't this bad. Once we know that we're no longer transmissible, we will be opening the shop again. Until, then stay well and take care of yourselves.

We are now in late Fall hours, and are open only Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. We are closed Mondays through Thursdays. We will close for the winter after Thanksgiving weekend. If you cannot get here on a weekend, we do open by appointment during our off days and hours. You just need to call ahead to make sure we can be here. Thanks for your support!

Good morning! Today is our 2023 Season Opening Day! We will be open Thursdays through Mondays through mid-October (closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays). The pies are in the oven, coffee cakes and quick breads are cooling, yeast breads and rolls are rising (just about ready for the oven). Cookies are on the counter. Sodas, teas and cheese curds are in the cooler. For vegetables, we have a few bunches of fresh-picked asparagus available (should have started a bigger patch), onions, garlic and tomatoes. Cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, kale, leeks, and onions are in the garden. Tomatoes, peppers. eggplant, lettuce, and corn growing in the greenhouses waiting for warmer weather. We've been getting spotty frost here almost every night, so it is still too early for them to get to the garden. Soon, I hope. Have a great weekend and see you soon! By the way, as usual, veterans and service members are entitled to a beverage and snack of their choice this weekend in honor of Memorial Day. Thank you for your Service to our country and to us. We are having our Small Business Saturday Weekend this weekend: Friday, 11/25/22, through Sunday, 11/27/22 from 10 am until 5 pm. All items in the store - other than meat - will be 10% off. We will close for the season on Sunday at 5 pm. As always we will open for anyone needing meat or other items on an appointment basis during the winter months. We will be opening for the 2022 season tomorrow, May 27, 2022 at 10 am. Our hours for this season will be Fridays through Mondays from 10 am until 5 pm. We will be closed Tuesdays through Thursdays this year. If someone needs to come during off-hours, call ahead (518-532-9466); and if we can be available, we will let you know that. Masks will be required in the store this year, due to serious on-going medical conditions resulting in the owner being severely immuno-compromised. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

We are planning on opening for the 2022 season on Friday, May 27, 2022 - Memorial Day Weekend. We are planning to be open Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays at least for the beginning of the season. We will be closed Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays this year.

Our Story

We are curently opening on Thursdays through Mondays with modified in-shop service, five days a week. We will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays until further notice. If you cannot come here except for those two days, please call to make arangements for service. If you prefer curbside service and do not want to enter the shop, you can call ahead to have your order ready, or make your request in the parking lot, and it will be brought out to you . If you do wish to look around the shop, we are limiting our customers to only two in the store at a time; and you MUST wear a mask or face covering. Sorry, but no children will be allowed in the shop since it is impossible to keep them from touching things. For our safety and the safety of our customers we would like to keep the handling of merchandise down as much as practical. If you don’t intend to buy it, please don’t touch.
