Hi y’all! This is a gonna be a real post!
I’ll be honest, I heard it was earlier but didn’t consider celebrating this special holiday until my toddler threw a tantrum and got sent to his room. I checked on him five minutes later and he was fast asleep on his bed. Had a feeling he was tired.
It’s only a Tuesday in our household and I admit, it’s a struggle to find the energy and motivation to accomplish much today. When I walked into the kitchen, i saw a slice of chocolate cake and figured why not enjoy it with glass of wine because it’s five-o’clock somewhere 😂😂
Big shoutout to Last Call Liquor in Norman for selling the four-pack mini bottles of Cook’s champagne when you don’t need a big bottle of wine! They give first-responders military and educators a discount!
Before I finish my own little break, I’ll raise my glass to single parents and those of us who don’t have any extra help with the kids besides our spouses and handle everything while our spouses/partners are at work to ensure our families are safe and have everything we need!
