Happy Halloween!! Our Green River single barrel has arrived! Like our first pick earlier this year, this 125.6 proof beauty turned out wonderfully and surprisingly drinks well below its proof. 6ish years old, fruit forward with gentle spice - it is the perfect fall time bourbon! We decided on the name Ricky Bobby since it was the first one bottled during its bottling run (it sounded good when we’d had several pours, don’t judge). Come and snag one or two, if you ain’t first you’re last!!

Happy hump day!! We FINALLY received our barrel of Green River! Absolutely in love with how it turned out. We picked this bad boy on October 10th, and that's half of what led to its name being "Barrels and Brews 10/10" - the other half is due to this being a 10/10 barrel pick. Full bodied with a deep palate, you'd think it would be followed by some heat but you'd be mistaken. It is proofed perfectly at 119 and a dangerous sipper! Come and grab one for yourself at the Nolensville or Franklin locations, cheers! 🥃

Happy Friday! We just got in 4 rockin barrels from NULU and I’m sure these will get your weekend started off perfectly! These guys are absolutely killing it and we’re so happy that they allowed us to be the first stores in TN to select some single barrels. Up first, we have the short barrel bourbon (C206). At 5yrs & 122 proof, this high-rye MGP barrel may not have yielded a bazillion bottles but it makes up for the lack in quantity with quality. A rich & oily palate with a finish that just won’t quit. Up next we have another 5yr MGP bourbon, barrel C225. This one has a little less rye than it’s companion, but maaaaaann is it flavorful. Way too easy to drink for its proof while still having great viscosity. Next, is the 6yr old Toasted MGP rye. The rye marries perfectly with the toasted finish and its almost reminiscent of graham crackers. That’s what I taste, and you can’t tell me otherwise. Anyhoo, this is a perfect bottle for a blind tasting I tell ya, there’s so much going on. It’s been enjoyable watching this pour change with air time. Last but not least, our 3yr old Extra Anejo Agave Spirit (basically tequila made in 🇺🇸)! I’ve been STOKED for this to come in. If you’ve ever been curious in regards to what a high proof tequila tasted like, this is your answer! Incredible profile with a long, full-bodied finish - this is one of those you’ve gotta be careful with. Happy F(rye)day everyone! Today has been great so far, our 3 barrels have arrived and I’m definitely a happy camper. The 114.9 barrel on the left is earthy with just the right amount of funk and perfect for those looking for a killer rye with just a little eccentricity. The 116 proofer in the middle is definitely the crowd pleaser. Super flavorful and sure to make a rye fan out of just about anyone. Finally, the 116.5 proofer is heavier on the rye notes and ideal for someone looking for a spicier style. Just delightful I tell ya. Our aim was to have a rye for any mood you’re in so we’re excited to see if everyone agrees that these 3 fit the bill! Series 2 of our barrel strength bourbon is the same beautiful MGP mash bill as our previous one but this one is more full-bodied and with a killer profile. Just what you’d expect from a bourbon rockin 36% rye - the right amount of spice, which is suuuuuper nice. Then we have a new entry - our barrel proof rye! It boasts a mash bill of 95% rye & 5% barley, also originating from my favorite Indiana distillery. Vibrant and incredibly flavorful, this selection is a rye lover’s dream! Our 7.5 year old 1792 full proof bourbon is an absolutely rockin flavor bomb and drinks nowhere near 125 proof. Our Ry3 barrel is a blend of 3 different rye mash bills and finished in a rum barrel… this sucker is drinking wooooooonderfully. Perfect for the season and talk about a nightcap! Yesterday was a great day seeing all these barrels roll through the doors! Two barrels of Copper & Cask and two partial barrels of brandy finished NULU (thank you thank you thank you so much for allowing us to split with you )! Both of these brands are rocking that beautiful MGP juice and they are absolutely delicious. The Copper & Cask bourbon is a four year with the 36% high rye mash bill and it is incredible for its age, it destroyed the other seven samples (that were all older I might add) by a mile. The rye is just shy of seven years and lands at 107.2 proof. I’ve been telling everyone that this is my new “gateway rye” due to it being sweet on the palate at the beginning and finishing with the perfect amount of rye spice. And then the NULU barrels? Good Lord. These bad boys are eeeeeexcellent. Jamie is truly a master of his craft, both the peach brandy and cherry brandy finished barrels are out of this world. All 4 of these picks are at both the Nolensville and Franklin locations so make sure to stop by either and snag some of these killer bottles and start your weekend off right!
