Lalo is produced by Don Julio’s grandson, it’s safe to say this family knows a thing or two about making exceptional tequila. With only three ingredients, water, yeast & agave, this clean spirit is lovely by itself on ice with a twist of lime. ¡Salud!

Garnacha lovers unite for our #5 on our Favorite Finds of 2023 List. Ver Sacrum is 100% Grenache Noir from Uco Valley, Argentina. The nose is showing vibrant red cherry, raspberry, sage and black pepper. The palate hints at cinnamon & brown sugar with a touch of lemon balm. This medium-body red is lovely for sipping by the fireplace or cozied up under a blanket with a good book.

Are you sick of the same old white wines? Try one of these interesting white varietals that clock in at #6 on our Favorite Finds Countdown. If you love Sauvignon Blanc try Foral De Melgaco’s Alvarinho. This Portuguese wine is bright with aromas of fresh cut flowers, vibrant in acidity with a refreshing tart finish. For my Pinot Grigio lovers try Cantine Iorio’s Falanghina. This ancient Italian varietal is creamy & round with flavors of almond & honeysuckle. Subtle notes of kiwi, lemon and crispy green apple makes this unique white wine excellent alongside crab cakes or oysters on the half shell. Cheers!
