We are now taking call ahead orders for our FREE Thanksgiving Dinner. 304-565-4551 Dinners will be available for pickup Thanksgiving Day between 10-2. The store will only be open for 4 hours this day as well. We are only taking 250 call ahead orders. Walk-ins will be welcome as well but we will only have 100 available for walkins. Unless we run out of food which has happened. Donations will be gladly accepted this day as food prices have sky rocketed. Doesn’t matter what you have to give every little bit helps.
We make 10-12 turkeys and hams. Over 400 deviled eggs. Approximately 15-20 casseroles. 20-25 gallons of mashed potatoes and green beans. Pasta and Mac salad, rolls, stuffing and a dessert for all dinners. Yes it’s a lot but we love our community and it’s just what we do.
When calling to reserve your dinners we will need to know time of pickup, name of who is picking up, pasta or macaroni salad and broccoli or sweet potato casserole. Please note time slots do fill up and we do have to cut some time slots off. No need to come early as this day is all hands on deck non stop for 4 hours. If you do come early don’t be offended if you have to wait. Also reserved dinners come before walkins. We do the best we can do this day. God bless all of you!

Wednesday evening and Thursday will be the only days available for pickup. If that is a total inconvenience for you feel free to message me julie I will see if another time works but NO promises. Please call ASAP to place your order as only a certain quantity of each will be available.

Friday November 8th 2024 we will have a benifit dinner for the Mike McGlothlin family to help cover his final arrangements. All proceeds from the dinner will go directly to the funeral home. Menu will be Ham Dinner w/mashed potatoes, green beans, macaroni salad, deviled egg & a roll. Dinners will be $9.59 each. We will begin serving at 10:30 and stop at 7:30. Dinners for Friday can be reserved now. 565-4551 Eat in or carry out will be available.

Julie Conley one of our employees is Mikes daughter. She has worked tirelessly for every benefit and free dinner we have done for the last four years. Always volunteering her time unselfishly. Now it’s our turn to show her family some love.

All donations, tips and dinners served will go to the family this day! God Bless all who help and purchase a dinner Friday!

Hello folks, Philip and I are planning our next trip to North Carolina we should be leaving in the next 7-10 days. We will once again be feeding the folks in the Swannanoa area. However this trip will also be a supply trip. We are aware of some items that are needed for when we arrive. These items are not big ticketed items. Just items that have either been over looked or low on supply. We can assure you all items will be delivered by us and gave to the folks in need in the area. This area is in search and recovery mode now. They are trying to get people set up to withstand the cold bitter months ahead. There will be many phases of help that is needed. We feel like we have enough monetary donations left to feed another round. However if you want to help please click the link below it will take you to a Walmart registry I took the time to make if you feel lead to help you can purchase directly and items will be sent to our store: if you want to take a look at the list and purchase in person that will work as well but please know I will not have time to meet and collect the items but your more than welcome to to drop off at The Newton Store
12434 Clay Road Newton Wv 25266. I was not able to add the small green propane tanks to the list for delivery those are in great need at this time. God Bless all of you for helping us out on our mission. These folks are gonna need good folks like you for a long time.
Please note as this time we are only taking new items. The area is over run with clothes etc. people simply don’t have a place to keep items as many many don’t even have a home at this time.
