Today is a bittersweet day. Today is the day we said goodbye to Newark as we decided it was time to hand the reins over to some great new owners.

There are way too many people to thank for the nearly ten years of sampling and providing the best beers around to a community that loves beer as much as we do. We’ll miss bringing our mascot CashyBoy to meet and greet all of our guests. We’ll miss hearing about regulars celebrating all of the little and big wins in their lives. We’ll miss all of the events and sharing stories that this place has provided over the years. This little shop sold over 46,000 growlers and filled over 2,322 half kegs and well over 4 million samples….yes, we counted. To all of our family, friends, supporters, employees, and customers - we love and thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. As we quoted an unknown author on the first day we opened our doors, we leave you with this…. “Beer will change the world, we don’t know how, but it will!” ❤️🍺

Closing up at 4 today. Come stock up on some last minute gifts. Don’t forget ALL LIQUOR STORES are closed tomorrow so don’t be the person showing up empty handed. Newarks 19th Food and Brew is TODAY…We’ve teamed up with the Wandering Chef - who will be slinging their top notch dumplings. We’ve got a huge wall of taps waiting to be sampled. Also, special crowlers available - first come first serve.

Fun little Beer Sampling Event. Tomorrow 11:30-2:30 we’ll be pouring some Big Oyster Fusco’s Italian Ice Shandy as well as others over at The Little Treasure Shoppee located at 226 West Park Place. Come on out and support local artisans and vintage merchants at this cool little shop. Food truck and live music as well.
