Each and everyday my sobriety is threatened. In order to stay smoke free the challenges have increased. I must now help others to do the very thing that haunts me....smoke. I get very angry at those who do not respect my sobriety. More and more I feel myself slipping. I have never gotten rid of the urge to smoke and my daily life does not allow me to abstain from. Yesterday was the first time in 10years I wanted a cigarette. Although I did not give in I feel like it wont be long before I do. Cigarette smoking is an addiction equivalent to Heroine. Pray my strength in the Lord that I do not light up today.
