We have a problem. And we've had a problem for a long time. I am no expert on social injustice, racism, or really any systemic form of oppression and inequality but it is self-evident that these past few days of courage and conscience have brought a long-overdue level of awareness to a systemic and metastatic problem in our country that needs to be excised. From this awareness, the magnitude of which fills me with hope, can come action. The time is now to act and act swiftly. With donations to efficient and thoughtful organizations. With time and effort. With our ballots. I owe it to our community, to our Vanderbilt team, to our country, and to myself to do more than just put words to paper...

’s pick this week: I miss shooting the breeze with you about my new crushes, like, for instance, this bottle of energy from Ewald Tscheppe of Weingut Werlitsch. It’s like a melody I can’t get out of my head.
Morillon is an obscure southern-Austrian clone of Chardonnay, and Opok is a soil-type with chalk and marine deposits. It evokes one of the most famous soil / grape combinations in the world: Chardonnay from Burgundy. It’s mineral and electric, herbaceous and citrusy. While I haven’t been to Styria, I imagine the air invigorates in the same way. 18 months in used barrels, no sulfur. This one may just give you wings.

We have now closed our doors, but we will be still be taking orders for pickup and delivery via VANDERBILT.WINE Read below for all the info on pickups and deliveries.
The Vanderbilt staff will be available as always to help you with your selections. We want to provide everyone with a positive social connection, so don’t hesitate to reach out through email, phone, and our web portals.

PICKUP HOURS 3-6pm Tues-Sat
Cutoff is 1pm for same-day pickup.
Any orders placed after 1pm please look for an email from us letting you know your order is ready for pickup.
During pickup you will not be allowed in the store. Please knock and show your ID. We will bring your order out to the sidewalk for you to carry away. It saddens us to have to work with you in this way but out of utmost concern for public health and safety we must abide by the social distancing protocols.
LOCAL DELIVERY 2-8pm Mon-Sat
Cutoff is 1pm for same-day delivery
Minimum for free neighborhood delivery $75
$10 charge for orders under minimum
(borders are Eastern Parkway, Lafayette Ave, 5th Ave, & Franklin Ave.)
GREATER BROOKLYN, QUEENS, & MANHATTAN
$10 flat fee, orders usually delivered within the week, we will reach out to coordinate the day and time of your delivery
