It’s an exciting day because we just got in three whiskies from The Glenturret Distillery that we've been trying to get our hands on for over a year! It is a Near-Perfect Highland Single Malt Scotch Now Owned by Lalique. Ultimate Spirits Challenge (which Francis was a judge for!) awarded the Chairman's Trophy to this Glenturret 10-Year. That means it was THE highest rated Highland single-malt. It also was ranked the #10 spirit of all spirits submitted. Finally, it also was noted as a GV or Great Value, and indeed it is at only $74.95 per bottle. It's outrageously good. We didn’t get many bottles so they are bound to go quickly.

Introducing the summer’s newest cocktail craze, pink gin. We found this incredible rose gin, Mirabeau during a tasting in NYC recently. Most "Rose" gins are either too sweet or seemingly artificially flavored. This one took us by surprise, it's delicate botanicals and floral backdrop really impressed us. Here are some of our favorite ways to enjoy it:
🍸 Pink Gin + 1724 Tonic over ice garnished with a dried orange peel
🍸 2.5 oz Pink Gin + .5 oz simple syrup over ice, stir, garnish with a dried orange peel and enjoy

The “house cuvée” is a selected blend from all the parcels that the Levet family owns. Produced in the same manner as “La Chavaroche” and “Les Journaries,” this bottling tends to be the most open and immediately seductive of the three versions of Levet Côte-Rôtie. This easiness is relative, of course, for this bottling still impresses. Levet’s typical smoky and savage character is here counterpointed by an elegant, floral, and wild-berry fruit.
