NCC Circle K International

NCC Circle K International CKI is a college student organization sponsored by Kiwanis and based on service, leadership, and fellowship. Meetings are Thursdays at 5pm in Goldspohn 14.

Circle K International (CKI) is the premier collegiate and university community service, leadership development, and friendship organization in the world. With more than 12,600 members in 17 nations, CKI is making a positive impact on the world every day. Circle K clubs are organized and sponsored by a Kiwanis club on a college or university campus. CKI is a self-governing organization and elects

its own officers, conducts its own meetings, and determines its own service activities. CKI blends community service and leadership training with the opportunity to meet other college students around the world. Projects such as the Six Cents Initiative, CKI’s International fundraiser that aims to provide water to the 2.2 billion children worldwide who lack safe drinking water, bring CKI members together to make a difference in the world.

General information

The NCC Chapter of Circle K meets weekly in room 14 of Goldspohn at 5pm. Our officers are: President- Katie Madel Vice President- Christine Dunne Secretary- Angie Fee Treasurer- Desury Paredes Circle K participates in a variety of service activities throughout the year and is always open to new ideas. In the past, things that this group has done have included: -Co-sponsoring the Trick-or-Treat food drive every Halloween -Raising funds for Trick or Treat for UNICEF -Raising money for the Spastic Paralysis Research Foundation with a Valentine’s Day fundraiser -Packing food at Feed My Starving Children -Participating in and raising money for Relay for Life -Volunteering at the Special Olympics -Helping with the Bryan House benefit auction -Doing yard work for people in the community -Setting up for a benefit auction for Little Friends -Participating in different projects with our sponsoring Kiwanis club, such as Peanut Days and cleaning up Veterans Park
