On Thursday, September 21st at 6pm, Taylor Food Store - INTERSTATE Location, 1911 S Stockton Ave, closed its doors and reopened Friday morning under new ownership, The Kent Companies.

For over 15 years, Taylor Food Stores and it’s employees have proudly served the great city of Monahans, by providing quality fuel and convenience, with a smile, to the community and surrounding areas…

Happy Friday Monahans! Some of you may have noticed poles going up behind Taylor Food Store’s Interstate location. We have been anticipating the arrival of the nation’s 3rd largest, Oklahoma based, convenient store chain for some time. QuickTrip is installing a large fence around the property of the old Shopko building in preparations for demolition.

What does this mean for Taylor Food Store and its customers? Well, it may be difficult to maneuver in and out of our store.

The good news is we’re working on a solution to help alleviate the congestion this barrier will create and hope to implement in the coming weeks.

As a small, locally-owned, family business of over 15 years, Taylor’s appreciates your loyalty and support. Our team values your patience during these upcoming changes and looks forward to continue serving our proud community of Monahans. Thank you!
