Trying something new (but not necessarily French, though some is, and all wine)! If you aren’t familiar with New France Wine Company, they have curated a top-tier catalog of wines, spirits, and more to share with us here in the Twin Cities, and we have teamed up with them to bring a variety of wines in from far and wide.

They will be in to provide samples from 4-7pm on Wednesday 11/27 (day before the turkey day). All going well, they’ll be here every couple of months to taste out new wines that we’ll have on the shelves for you to keep things interesting by. Bubbly, still, red, white, natural, organic, ‘other’… come give them a shot!

5/18/24 we’re packing out our parking lot with all sorts of artists and makers, food to enjoy, a rotating cast of tastings throughout the day, and music to keep it all moving.

We’ve got friends both old and new joining us and we hope to see you there. As always, the event is free to attend, kid and animal friendly (provided both are well behaved), and right outside our shop.

5/18/24 we’re packing out our parking lot with all sorts of artists and makers, food to enjoy, a rotating cast of tastings throughout the day, and music to keep it all moving.

The Great Northeast Scavenger Hunt begins NOW! Have you mapped your routes?! This year features 30 local businesses, the ones you keep hearing about, one for every day of 30 Days of Biking (April).

The protected bikeways (above) are a perfect way to get started, but the great thing about bicycles (one of so many) is that bikes can go anywhere, like right up to the front door (which is great because bikes make Scavenger Hunt selfies SO much better). And there’s no more convenient parking than bicycle parking. There’s always a space! (Unless it’s Art-a-Whirl.)

Hunters can earn the 2024 Merit Patch! Pick up great prizes from wonderful local businesses. But most important, get on your bike and ride! (It’s actually going to be a beautiful spring this time.)

Announcing the 5th annual Great Northeast Scavenger Hunt!

This year’s Hunt celebrates (and supports) the amazing local businesses of Northeast during all 30 Days of Biking (April)!

- Visit a checkpoint
- Post it on Instagram
- Tag Shop and the checkpoint partner of the day

5 posts earns the 2024 Merit Patch.

Visit all 30 checkpoints to earn the NE Super Fan Swag Bag with fabulous prizes from the 30 businesses profiled during the Hunt. Follow along to find out what’s in the bag.

But don’t do it for the prizes. Do it for Northeast. Do it for the exercise and the fresh air. Do it for the planet. Do it for yourself. Most important, take THE PLEDGE and do it for 30 Days!

Shout out to the NE Chamber of Commerce and the City of Mpls for collaborating again on this year’s hunt.

Art-A-Whirl 2024 by is just two months out (May 17-19)! We’re switching gears this year and limiting our event to just Saturday (The Big One™️) in an effort to pull the max traffic on one day, save the set up and take down, and have one big blowout rather than a marathon.

If you haven’t found a home to show your work, play your tunes, sell your food, or simply hang out and enjoy it all we could very well be your spot.
