Position: Merchandiser

Job Description: As a Merchandiser at Stern Beverage, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our brands' visibility and increasing sales across various retail locations. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing product displays, ensuring products are attractively presented, and shelves are adequately stocked. Your eye for aesthetics and creativity will contribute to capturing the attention of customers and driving product interest.

Responsibilities:
• Organize and maintain product displays in accordance with company standards and guidelines.
• Ensure product stock levels are sufficient and perform restocking activities as needed.
• Rotate products to maintain freshness and monitor expiration dates.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop promotional strategies and execute them at the store level.
• Build strong relationships with store personnel to secure prime merchandising locations.
• Conduct regular store visits to assess display quality and address any issues.
• Monitor competitor activities and provide insights to the management team.
• Maintain accurate records of merchandising activities and report on performance metrics.

Requirements:
• Previous experience in merchandising or retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• A creative mindset with a strong eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical fitness to lift and move merchandise as required.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Anheuser-Busch and Stern Beverage, in partnership with the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC), are providing more than 2,000 cans of emergency drinking water to help Colona Fire Department. This effort is part of Anheuser-Busch's commitment to deliver more than 2.5 million cans-more then ever before-to volunteer fire departments across the country in support of disaster preparedness and relief efforts this year. Now in the fifth year of this initiative, the brewer and its wholesaler partners are expanding their reach to demonstrate their shared dedication to the communities they serve, as well as their deep appreciation for the first responders who are keeping their communities safe.

More than two-thirds of America’s firefighters are volunteers, often serving on the frontlines in their local communities with limited resources and staffing. These first responders rely on clean drinking water to stay hydrated in times of need; yet their departments often lack the budget necessary to supply. This emergency drinking water donation is an essential resource to help prepare our local heroes ahead of time, rather than wait for disaster to strike.

Anheuser-Busch has a longstanding history of providing support for disaster relief and preparedness, including through its flagship emergency drinking water program and partnership with the American Red Cross dating back to 1906. Since launching this collaboration with the NVFC and its wholesaler partners in 2019, the brewer has donated more than 6.4 million cans of clean, safe drinking water to more than 960 volunteer fire departments across 49 states.

As a summer hire at Stern Beverage, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals in a fast-paced and exciting environment. You will have the chance to gain valuable experience in the beverage industry, develop important skills, and earn money to help fund your education.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is eager to learn, flexible, and able to work in a team environment. We are looking for students who are available to work full-time during the summer months, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities will include:

Assisting with deliveries and stocking of products
