322 Brews beer distributor is hiring!
We are looking for Part Time Year-Round Help. You must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, including 4TH of July, Labor Day, etc.
LOCATION: 322 Brews is 2/10 of a mile west of the Meadville Walmart, toward Conneaut Lake, on the opposite side of the road. We are halfway between Tractor Supply Company and Foulk’s Flooring America. The sign in front of our building says “BEER” vertically.
JOB DUTIES: Restocking the cooler, providing great customer service, restocking the cooler, making recommendations to customers, restocking the cooler, checking ID’s to make sure all customers are over age 21, restocking the cooler, lifting beer, restocking the cooler, stacking beer, restocking the cooler, ringing up customer’s purchases, are you getting the idea that it is important to restock the cooler?, accepting payments, counting out change, putting cases of beer in customer’s vehicles, restocking the cooler, restocking shelves, accepting deliveries, wiping down the slushie machine, cleaning counters, cleaning glass cooler doors, sweeping floors, mopping floors, etc.
You will often be working alone without supervision. Only our office is temperature-controlled (heat/AC). The beer warehouse is open-air with roll-up doors open for our drive-thru. You will be working in all temperatures. In the winter you will need to dress warmly, as if you are working outside. In the summer you can wear shorts and a T-shirt, and go stand inside the beer cooler if you get too hot!
322 Brews is a small family-run business. There are usually only 1 or 2 people working per shift. There are no “departments”. There is no “restocking department” or “cleaning crew”. Every employee does whatever is necessary to keep the store running smoothly. Most of the time, cases of beer are the heaviest thing that need to be moved. Both women and men are encouraged to apply.
Pay consists of an hourly base pay rate, plus a bonus for being prompt, reliable, hard-working, and showing attention to detail. You also get occasional tips from customers. With all of those things combined, you can expect to average about $11.50 per hour starting out, depending on the effort you put in. People with experience in the beer business, those who have management experience, and those who prove themselves to be prompt, reliable, and hard-working, can earn raises very quickly, usually within 4 to 6 weeks.

THESE ARE THE SHIFTS WE ARE CURRENTLY TRYING TO FILL:
--Most Sundays: a 4 to 8 hour shift, usually opening or mid-day.
--Most Mondays: a 4 to 9 hour shift either opening or closing.
--Every Wednesday: 5pm to 9pm
--Every other Thursday: 10am – 4pm.
--Most Fridays: a 4 to 8 hour shift, usually afternoon or evening.
--Most Saturdays. a 4 to 8 hour shift, usually afternoon or evening.
--If you can work SOME or ALL of these shifts, please apply.
