So sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Don Hampton. He was such a precious man. About every other week he would come in to the store and always wanted white beans. If I knew he was coming, I would try to have him some. We’d sit and talk about the world some. Sending prayers to his wife, Deanna and the rest of his family.

The posts from earlier today about the truck doing donuts have been deleted. The gentleman called me and apologized and offered to pay for any damages made.
We all get caught up sometimes in situations that shouldn’t happen. He did. He manned up and done what was right. That’s all we need. There are good people left.

With the new year coming in, we were wondering if anyone is interested in leasing the store out ? No better way to start fresh than to open your own business !!! Y’all think about it and let us know. Be glad to talk with you. ( After tomorrow of course ). lol

I’ve been busy getting food trucks scheduled for you. I will post the schedule for next week in a few days. I’m so excited to say that along with Davidsons BBQ food truck, I also have Carmacks food truck AND Knotts Landing coming to serve ya !! 5 years ago today was our first official day open. We were nervous and excited. Y’all kicked our tails ! A lot of things have happened since that day, but I wanted to take this time to say THANK YOU to everyone that supported us while we were there.
We greatly appreciated it !
We couldn’t have done without our awesome employees. They helped make our little store what it was. Did we make mistakes ? Heck yea we did. Everyday. Example: Serving a grilled cheese with no cheese 🤷🏼‍♀️. Had a good laugh tho.
Hopefully one day this little store will reopen and be what it once was. That’s the wish. Happy Anniversary to us all. And remember that MommaT loves you… Always

Hey y’all !!! Been a while since I’ve been on the page. Still miss ya.
Are there any food trucks out there that could set up here at the store Monday - Friday during the lunch hours of 11-2ish ? I talked to so many that are having to drive into one of the towns to eat. I’d like to have one per day. Please pm me if you are interested and I will be glad to talk with you and set up a day. We can do this as long as the store is closed. Thanks y’all !!

Well y’all, it’s sad that the store is closed again. I love this little place so very much. It’s hard these days to keep a small business open. You have to have a lot of business. You have to have good dependable workers. We’ve leased it out twice since I closed it in February of last year. Unfortunately, they didn’t make it. I don’t know what’s gonna happen with our little store but I would love to see it open and running full force again. I contacted a couple of our previous workers but they are working elsewhere and don’t want to give up their jobs. I understand totally. These little stores can only pay enough to subsidize another income or for someone that just wants a little spending money. Hopefully someone will come in and want to open it up and try again. We don’t want to sell it but would love to lease it out to someone. If you’re interested , feel free to message me or call me at 415-1850. Momma T

Ok y’all , everyone wants to know about the black ball hanging on our front porch. It’s for catching these dang horseflies.. It works as you can see !! I ordered it from Amazon. 2 balls, 2 needles to blow them up and a can of sticky stuff. $28.99 and worth the money.
