Now through January 31, 2025, Big Y customers and employees will have the opportunity to donate to American Red Cross Disaster Relief at all Big Y supermarket locations throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut. That’s why we’re so excited for our new after-school Cooking Club Collaboration with UMass Nutrition Extension and Springfield Public Schools - Massachusetts. Each week, elementary students who take part in the Cooking Club will learn how to prepare yummy recipes and take home resources so they can recreate them at home. Headquartered in Springfield, MA, Big Y is one of the largest independently owned supermarket chains in New England. Proud to be American and family owned and operated, we operate over 70 stores throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts with over 11,000 employees.
