What you will need:
*1 1/2 ounces brandy
*1 ounce dark crème de cacao (dark or white, depending on your preference)
*1 ounce cream
**Optional garnish: grated nutmeg

It's National Irish Coffee Day!

With a mix of bold coffee, silky cream, a hint of sugar, and a kick of Irish whiskey - this is a drink full of history, charm, and packed full of caffeine!

What you will need:
*2 teaspoons granulated sugar OR packed brown sugar
*4-6 ounces strong, hot coffee
*1 1/2 ounces Irish whiskey
*1 ounce heavy cream, lightly whipped

Sweet, Creamy, Buttery, and packed with spice! We're talking about Hot Buttered Rum!

Let this drink keep you warm on the cold winter nights!

For the batter, you will need:
*2/3 cup brown sugar
*1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
*1/4 cup honey
*1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
*1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg (freshly ground is best)
*1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
*Pinch of salt
*1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For each cocktail:
*2/3 cup hot water
*2 tablespoons (1 ounce) batter, plus more to taste
*2 ounces dark rum
*Sweetened whipped cream and ground nutmeg, for garnish
