Day 11 - Last day of our Portuguese adventure! Time to walk a few sights including the Castelo de Sao Jorge and lunch at Time Out Market before our flight. Of course another glass of port for the road!

Day 10- a brief stop in Faro for lunch before continuing on to Lisbon. Faro is known as the Gateway to the Algarve, a bustling seaside town offering historical sires, water sports, shopping and dining. Didn't have much time here but nice to squeeze in another locale.

Marg’s 10 pics here… Pete’s so right- it’s impossible to pick just 10 from this perfect 10 day. Lagos has 💯 surfer vibes. The boat tour came with a comedy act- thanks Luis and Bruno! Then we walked their boardwalk for miles… stunning views. My next business may be opening a bar at the top. Seems like a missed opportunity there…

Day 8 was a day of train travel from Sintra to Lagos in the Algarve. So, so cute! How do we keep finding these gems?!? This time, a full apartment called the Salty Lodge, (not to be confused with Manasquan's Salty Whale)! 😂 Surf motives, a view of the inlet and so many eateries below. Can't wait to get on the water tomorrow!

I won’t soon forget the sidewalks in Portugal. White and black marble stones in patterns. Quite slippery in the rain! When combined with the slopes and hills, I almost bite it more than once. 🤣

The National Palace was huge, sparsely decorated and a bit of a mystery. The use and meaning of some rooms and areas are unknown, lost to time and history. I loved the pockets of gardens, terraces and fountains.

Wowza! Hard to pick just 10 pics for Pena Palace! The outside is Disney castle-esque; Arabian influences; original style decor. We saw the entire city on the wall walk around the castle. Brilliant blue skies- first day without rain. ☀️ Sintra is exquisite.

Chalet saudade in Sintra. Our hotel for the night. Totally ridiculous that we found this beaute online… our “room” is actually rooms with this private blue balcony overlooking Fox Valley. The pic of Pete and me on the balcony is our view!

Palacio da Bolsa - a highlight in Porto. It is still used today for the center of Commerce. Built in 1834, parts rebuild in 1842 due to fire. You could get married here for 40k euro. Exquisite!

The Tile Museum. Tiles dating back to 1500s. Portugal is known for their azulejos. Everywhere you go, everywhere you look you will see tiles.

"Thank you store for serving us." We say this expression of gratitude when it's time to let something go. Closing OMG has been a difficult decision but I'm so thankful for the time I had fulfilling my dream! Thank you to everyone that ever bought a gift from us. Thank you friends and family that encouraged me to go for it! On to my next chapter and I'll see you down the road!
