Tasting notes: Light notes of sassafras enveloped by a creamy cake batter aroma with notes of toasted almonds, and sweet, ye**ty rye bread dough. Medium sweetness with a soft palate of caramel, honey-dipped almonds, Ceylon cinnamon, and toasted oak. A delicate, long-lingering finish with notes of malt, cocoa powder, and vanilla sponge cake.

Tasting notes:

A great whiskey can hold your attention without ever crossing your lips. This bourbon does that in spades. Classic nose of crème brûlée, banana bread, molasses, vanilla, honeyed oak, and butterscotch candies. And yes, dark chocolate covered marzipan. A generous dose of caramel sweetness greets the palate and is quickly joined with flavors of cinnamon, clove and vanilla. Its medium, oily body is generously layered with notes of dark, dried fruit, toasted walnuts, caramel, sweet to***co, and a touch of peppery rye spice. The finish is long, rich, and complex with some slightly smoky notes rising up from the depths. A depleted glass provides another round of aromatic amusement that will beckon you to pour another sip. Savor each one to its fullest as the bottle will surely not last long enough.

Tasting notes: The nose is greeted by freshly baked coffee cake with vanilla icing and hints of maraschino cherry. Orange marmalade, cocoa, almonds and caramel custard are found, given time to breathe. A delightful dose of sweetness greets the palate with loads of orange, toffee, ginger, allspice, and cocoa. Finishes with lingering oak, to***co, and buckwheat honey.
