The shelves gleamed with bottles, a festive display, While shoppers rushed in, to brighten the day.The owner, with beard white, like winter's first snow, Greeted each customer, with a welcoming glow. He poured tastings of whiskey, smooth, rich, and deep, And offered advice, while secrets they'd keep.The air hummed with chatter, of parties and cheer, Of families gathering, year after year. A lonely old man, with a tear in his eye, Picked a bottle of brandy, to bid sorrows goodbye.Two lovers embraced, champagne flutes in their hand, Celebrating dreams, across the wide land. A mother, with children, bought sparkling delights, To toast to the season, with all their might.The clock struck twelve, a magical chime, As the last customer left, with spirits sublime. The owner, exhausted, yet filled with delight, Locked up the store, and wished everyone a good night.He walked through the snow, the moon shining bright, Thinking of moments, that warmed his heart light.
