It has been almost a month now, and it is with beyond heavy hearts that we let our loyal customers know of the passing of James McBreen of McBreen’s Beverage. Our families are devastated by his unexpected passing. He was so proud of this business. He wasn’t at the store as much as he was when it first opened, but he loved stopping by and getting to see familiar faces that he hadn’t seen in a while. This store was something that he most literally wore on his sleeve whenever he could. During this time, it has been so difficult to properly honor James. While we will be able to honor him in the way he deserved at some point, our family has set up a memorial for him with Ocearch. Ocearch is an organization that focuses on tracking sharks and their habits in order to balance the ocean and keep it as bountiful as possible. James was an avid fisherman and all around man of the sea. He spent as much time as he could out on the boat fishing or relaxing with our family and friends. We know that this is a difficult time for all, so we understand that donations are not always possible, but please click on the link to take a look at his memorial either way. He and we appreciate all of your continued support, both personally and professionally, and we hope you are all staying safe and keeping your families close.
