Good day dear friends,

I hope you are all doing well and are nicely and safely settling into 2025, wherever you are.

Lee’s Mini Market is coming along, we recently cleared Virginia Food & Safety Inspection.
The current restrictions in having a firm opening date is, having products on the shelves, which we are working on daily.

We sourced a local woodworker to build and modify the produce stand, which scheduled to be completion this week.

It’s all coming together. Once again, thank you all for your support.

Louisa Community, my heart is broken by the fires in California.

My love and prayers to all the people, animals, businesses, homes and air quality.

Happy Saturday.

I had the opportunity to see the Louisa Holiday Parade last Saturday and it was great, really lively atmosphere.

There were local vendors selling food, gifts and much more. People were out and about.

We worked on the shelves and watched the parade, it was nice.🎄

Good morning and happy Tuesday,

I received a private message regarding the QR Code scan not working. First, thank you for letting me know.

My twenty-one years old son who is busy in university offered to create the QR Code for me. He didn't realize it was a free sample that only lasted 14 days.

The good news is the situation has been resolved, the QR Code is back to working.

Please be sure to scan the code to be added to the mailing list to be informed on the opening day. Don’t forget to let us know, if you are a Farmer, Wholesaler, Supplier, Shopper or all the above.

For the first time I experienced fear; regarding opening Lee’s Mini Market. The oddest thing, early one morning, it came from no where. I was working on computer and a thought came to mind, “oh my goodness, what if we can’t keep up with inventory.”

Then that thought passed, I have plans in place.

Then another fearful thought came, “What if …”.

I stopped and looked at the computer “what if…”

Then I smiled, fear is no different from anger, sadness, happiness, and so on, those feelings are not permanent, they’re passing.

I jumped into the shower got dressed and we went to work in the market.

While there, I noticed a Veterans Day event, I stepped outside to observe and give my respect. I had small conversations with the locals strolling by it was great. Louisa is really a charming place and the people are nice.

From those conversations, we, we including both Rick and Jaden, put together a small flyer for locals to stay updated on Lee’s Mini Market opening. Be sure to scan the QR Code to join Lee’s Mini Market mailing list.

Good afternoon, How was your week? Are you creating and feeling the holiday season around you? I have seen some beautiful lights.✨I am so excited to say Lee’s Mini Market is making progress. Over the last week, shelves were completely installed. Yes!🙂Refrigerators and freezers were delivered yesterday, which was good. However, they had to be removed from the raise pellet, all 12,000 pounds, we looked at each other and decided it was a good time for lunch.I enjoyed a bowl of soup, broccoli cheddar, a tasty mildly purée soup and half a sandwich from Apfel Haus Bistro Bakery.After lunch we ran into Flower Child Consignment. We mentioned our 12,000 pounds challenge and with collaborative brain 🧠 churn, muscle solution was found; thank you Country Boys BBQ.After it was all moved, Rick and I looked at each other and took it all in, from a quick conversation with a neighboring business, we had a resolve to this day’s challenge.🤍 Apfel Farms Farm Stand Flower Child Consignment

Good morning to you, Happy Saturday. I had the opportunity to see the Louisa Holiday Parade last Saturday and it was great, really lively atmosphere. Reel Talk I’m starting to receive samples. Today I received a selection of vegan cheese, Rebel Cheese. Have you ever had vegan cheese? I haven’t, I eat dairy cheese. This was a pleasant surprise, can you tell I’m enjoying this cheese? What a productive. We spent the entire day cleaning Lee’s Mini Market and setting up my office at the market. We can check that task off the list and on to the next task. Lee’s Mini Market, Coming Soon to Louisa Virginia!
