Spotlight on Spanish wine!

Some special selections from Spain…..

2020 Prana by Viña Ilusión: Grapes are fermented spontaneously using low-intervention, and certified organic. 50% of the grapes undergo carbonic maceration, the other are 50% fermented traditionally, this is a really beautiful pure and refreshing expression of Tempranillo, with notes of lush bright red pomegranate. Husband and wife team Martin Alonzo and Gloria Plaza studied Furuoka’s permaculture methods and Steiner’s Biodynamic theories in developing their farming methods. The wine is named Prana, the sanskrit word for breath as a life-giving force, and so named for the organic farming practices that improve and regenerate the soil, as prana regenerates the body. Drink lightly chilled alongside a cheese plate. A perfect all purpose red. Namaste.
