Camp Awesome is a summer camp program that will begin June and end August.

Mission Statement:
Camp Awesome is devoted to helping youth achieve positive self-esteem, enriched social skills, and a high level of personal growth through a safe, fun, and awesome summer beach experience. Camp Awesome is a drop off only beach summer program that will consist of play, leisure, arts & crafts, water activities, exercise, and positive reinforcement. Parents will be able to follow t

heir children at any time and see what they are doing online through our social media sites. Hours Of Operation:

1 time registration fee per child of -$25

Things to know before your first day at Camp Awesome -

June 10th - August 16th Monday- Friday 10am-4pm Extended Hours for an additional $12/hour 9am drop off and/or 5pm pickup Locations: Playa del Rey & Redondo Please keep in mind that we may also be adding weeks to the end of Summer depending on demand and when campers return to school in Fall.

Camp Awesome's Happy Helpers Teenie and I created a list of our favorite at home activities for you all to enjoy before summer starts. Let us know if you have any ideas you think we should add! Indoor Activities: Pick a theme! Play dress up and take pictures. Mystery Hunt: pick a few toys, hide them around the house and go on an adventure finding them. Pillow forts/ create an obstacle course. Face painting.Use google to look up images to copy. Create an easy word search. Make videos together. Backyard Activities: Magnify insects. Relay race. Paint in coloring book instead of using crayons. Create a "zoo" to visit with toys. Dye rice with food coloring to make rainbow rice for sensory play or to add to artwork. Have a tea party. We'll be sending out more ideas soon! Let us know if you tried any and how it worked out. One tip I have for you parents is to set time limits. The activities can take a lot of energy from everyone and it's important to decide at the beginning how long you plan on participating. Set timers to let the little ones know when the time is up. Of course, it's okay to end a little early or go over if you are having a blast! Remember be awesome and have fun, Jessica & Teenie
