This rainy season, San Pedro de los Landeros will have one more tree per inhabitant! Earlier this week, over 50 community members joined us to plant 150+ trees. In the coming days, our friends will help plant an additional 50.

Valor and the Gente Buena Foundation are thrilled to work hand-in-hand with the community to support reforestation in this beautiful town, the heart of Valor Tequila production.

Meet Professor Leobardo Padilla Miranda from the University Center of the Valleys (CUVAlles) at the University of Guadalajara and partner of Valor. A scholar in both the environmental and social realities of the tequila industry, Leobardo has been a core leader on Valor’s team of social impact experts since day one. Together, we are working hand-in-hand with the community of San Pedro de los Landeros to seek paths toward well-being.
