At the museum, I was captivated by the stunning paintings of the punta rock king, Pat Cayetano. 🎶 His vibrant colors and expressive brushstrokes brought to life the essence of Belizean culture and the beauty of its landscapes. 🌴🎨 It was fascinating to see how his art reflects the rich traditions and spirit of the Belizean people. The “enSlaved” exhibit was a powerful and thought-provoking experience that delved into the complex history of slavery in Belize. 📜✨ It shed light on the struggles, resilience, and triumphs of those who lived through this dark period. The exhibition showcased artifacts, documents, and narratives, guiding visitors through the profound impact of slavery on the nation’s past and its journey towards freedom and equality.
