We are in the harvesting stage now.
To***co growing is indeed labor-intensive and involves several stages. Here’s a brief overview:

Preparation: The soil is prepared by plowing and fertilizing. To***co prefers well-drained soil with a pH of around 5.8 to 6.2.

Planting: To***co seeds are typically started in seedbeds or greenhouses before being transplanted to the field. Transplanting usually happens when the seedlings are about 6-8 weeks old.

Cultivation: Farmers must frequently w**d and cultivate the fields to prevent competition for nutrients. They also manage pests and diseases that can affect the crop. We use not pesticides. Completely

Topping and Suckering: Topping involves removing the flower heads to encourage the plant to put more energy into leaf growth. Suckering is the removal of side shoots to improve the quality of the leaves.

Harvesting: To***co leaves are harvested when they reach maturity, which involves either hand-picking or using mechanical methods. The timing is crucial as the quality and flavor of the to***co are affected.

Curing: After harvesting, the leaves are cured through methods such as air-curing, flue-curing, or fire-curing. Curing helps develop the flavor and prepare the leaves for processing. We will be air-curing.

Processing: Cured to***co leaves are sorted, graded, and processed / aged / blended / rolled.

Each stage of growing and processing to***co requires careful management to ensure high-quality results. The physical demands, along with the need for expertise, make it a challenging endeavor.
